The party started with pizza, cupcakes, and opening presents in the party room (which was decorated special for you). You got a lot of great gifts! Star Wars figures, Star Wars legos, remote control car, silly putty, slinky, Target gift card, Twister Hop Scotch game, and Wall-E movie. You have some generous friends!
Just before the movie started (Planet 51, by the way) you got to have a behind the scenes tour! They took you and your friends up to the projection booth where you got to see how the movies were delivered to the theater, how they were loaded into the projector, and lots of other technical stuff (which you LOVE). You all even got to take a little strip of the Planet 51 movie home with you...cool! The highlight of the tour...you got to start your movie! The projectionist loaded your movie, then you got to push the button which started the whole thing! Sweet!
It's hard to believe my baby is going to be 6 tomorrow. You've grown up SO much in the last year...it makes me both happy and sad. Happy that your getting more and more independant and sad that you don't need me as much. I'm SO proud of you bud. It made me happy to sit back at your party and see all your friends with you, all friends YOU made on your own.
Your GOLDEN birthday is tomorrow, I pray and wish it'll be the best Birthday yet.
